Dry eyes success

Dear all,

After a lot of time, and research and ect. I decided to share my experience with dry eyes and corneal neuralgia (1 year and a half).

I am actually working on a free blog where I talk about my experience. I found it really hard to explain everything I have done and...

Share your cyclosporine eyedrops experience

I created this topic as I find multiple topics popping up by different people wanting to know other peoples experience as to make a choice if it is worth using these - sometimes - expensive eyedrops. That's why, in order to have a better global idea about this, I propose that people who are or have...

looking for the different ways people manager computer use, i've bought an e ink phone and considering buying an e ink monitor, virtual reality headsets may also be an option? What else do you guys do to manage computer/ screen use?

One eyelid constantly inflamed?

My right eyelid seems to be constantly more inflamed for the last few months, it also hangs lower probably due to the inflammation, I've tried hot/ cold compresses and can't seem to get it under control, anyone able to help?

Sorry as I'm sure this has been asked before.
I'm looking for somewhere in the UK/ Europe where I would be able to get Prokera.

I'm also interested if anyone has been able to get xiidra in the UK?

Or is it a case of travelling to America..

Has anyone used Serum drops and Restasis at the same time?

I am very frustrated. I started getting dry eyes a year and a half ago and they have gotten steadily worse no matter what therapy I have tried. I can barely open my eyes during the day, can't drive, cant do Zoom meetings or have a conversation with anyone, can't walk because I can't see where I'm...

Stubborn ocular rosacea in one eye only

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had experience with rosacea that just will not go away?

I’ve had MGD/Bleph for many years, but just over a year ago my right eye went bright red, weeping, goopy and gritty, and my eyelids would be stuck every morning.

At first I though...

Schirmer Test and glands are fine but lipid layer thin

Hi guys,

So, my right eye has had bouts of dryness ever since Strabimus surgery 9 years ago. I have been to see a dry eye specialist and they have told me that my Schirmer tests came back fine - right eye 20mm. and my glands are fine with no sign of bleph. However, my lipiview scores on...

Shortage of Lacrisert (hydroxypropyl cellulose ophthalmic insert)

My wife has SS and SLE with severe sicca syndrome. She uses a lot of medications (prednisolone, hydroxychloroquine, azathioprine, rituximab, restasis, artificial tears, +++) but what works best for her when it comes to lubrication is Lacrisert in combination with one specific type of...

Testing for Nocturnal Lagophthalmos

How can one know if they have this? Is this something one can figure out on their own, or would only a super talented eye doctor be able to catch it?
