why is this NHS eye doctor telling me ikervis not a long term eye drop?

so ive been on ikervis for six months now. the eye doctor who prescribed it said hes very pleased with the difference in my eyes, in my last appointment how ever i was surprised hes also said he plans to take me off it soon and ikervis is not a long term eye drop.

im very upset about...
 

PRK and dry eyes - any advice would be helpful - 4 plugs, Xiidra

Hi!

Is there someone here on this forum with dry eyes after PRK surgery?
My dry eyes suddenly became inflammed two years post surgery.

I have lower silicone plugs, but wondered if anyone here has had success with plugging uppers too?

Any on here have experience...
 

4 plug and Scleral lens

Has anyone with 4 plugs tried Scleral lens?

There are a lot of debris going into my lenses. Donít know why.

Eyelash in eye

Hi,

I don't know what to do. Since the worsening of my blepharitis I get more eyelashes/eyebrow hairs coming out than normal. Tonight I got one in my eye and it was super painful. But when I tried to get it out I could barely see it..it's very thin and it looked white. Normally what I do...

Years of Dry Eye

In my mid 20's,I took Accutane and that is the cause of my dry eyes.That was over 30 years ago.I have used all kinds of drops,had plugs put in(didn't help)even tried Restasis(also didn't help).Recently have an optometrist who is a dry eye specialist,who has helped me more than any other doctor I have...

Things that help me for my dry eyes

Hi!
I'm Ewa and I'm 36. And according to my eye doctor I have mild to moderate dry eye syndrome.
I want to share with you my way to deal with this problem.

I used 3 different eye drops, preservative free of course. A few months ago they helped me, but this time - not so much....
